Description:
Established manufacturing company is looking for an experienced IT Manager to join their team.? This great opportunity will be responsible for:
- Responsible for all local systems, manage the Disaster Recovery Plan for all these systems
- Responsible for coordinating IT infrastructure improvement at plant level (7 plants)
- Project Management on application/infrastructure that meet business requirements within agreed time line and budget
- Project status and communication via regular project status updates and reviews with internal business customers
- Coordinate change management activities via communication and control of any change management issues
- Manage project documentation that meets SDLC policies
- Ensure helpdesk support is provided to cluster staff to meet target service levels
- Responsible for the provision of IT infrastructure services including desktop, local and/or wide area networks, IT security and telecommunications
- Manage the IT budget and vendor contracts
The qualified candidate MUST have the following:
- 5 plus years in project management, application & infrastructure
- Bachelor?s degree in computer science or equivalent business experience
- AS400 experience
- Business knowledge of key business processes such as Supply Chain, Finance, MRP concepts
- Infrastructure ? Windows Environment
- SOX compliance
- Experience managing an IT department
- Knowledge on ERP systems
