Business Development Manager

Our CLIENT is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager?to join their sales team.? In this role, the successful candidate will leverage the company?s total technology portfolio to expand their customer base of national/global Fortune 1000 multi-site accounts.? To do this effectively requires the ability to understand and professionally articulate the CLIENT value proposition and their service solutions.? This is a ?sales hunter? role with a defined quota and upside earning potential.? The ideal candidate will currently be located in Minneapolis, Chicago or Dallas and will report to and work directly with their Minneapolis-based sales/service/support teams.

Essential responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing, targeting and executing a business strategy focused on national/global Fortune 1000 multiple site accounts.
  • Proactively engaging prospects in a dialogue to understand their needs/expectations and to define solutions that best align CLIENT service offerings with a clients business requirements.
  • Preparing, presenting, negotiating and securing detailed business quotes, proposals, statements of work, Master Service Agreements, etc. ??
  • Consistently communicating and building credibility with ?C? level executives.
  • Effectively managing sales information using electronic tools and programs including database management system, quoting and forecasting tools, etc.
  • Working collaboratively with all internal resources to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction are maintained.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of relevant sales experience.? Prior work/sales experience in a technology related business preferred including industry knowledge of sales cycles and ecosystems required to close business.? Our CLIENT is specifically looking for candidates with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding assigned sales objectives to include developing prospect lists, building pipelines and closing business.? Other desired qualifications include strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and an unwavering drive to open new customer doors.
